Uber Eats delivery not delivered

FML.

Ordered from a local restaurant via Uber Eats for the first time tonight.

I didn't download the app, I went to the restaurant website on my laptop and had to order from Uber Eats, that was the choice.

They delivered it to the wrong address (says on my receipt). I went round there and very nice woman, who I totally believe, says she sent it away.

I've rung the restaurant, they can't help - they say ring Uber Eats.

THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER FOR UBER EATS ANYWHERE TO BE FOUND.

I've found an Uber Eats page which says "enter our live chat if you have a problem via the link below".

Wtf do I do now?

I think she was honest. Uber Eats gave me a refund but I really wanted my dinner . I'd spent all day getting things ready for a second hand sale and was feeling grubby and tired. My teenage son was even more furious than me as we only have a takeaway once in a blue moon.

The awful, awful thing about it was I couldn't speak to anyone on the phone and no one phoned me even though you give your phone number when you order. So backwards!

I don't use uber eats anymore. I did twice (only option round here for mcdonald's delivery and my teenager wanted a macd a couple of times as a treat) and both times there were items missing.

Another time, when I went to macds myself, it was extremely busy and from ordering to them giving me my order I was in there 20 minutes. For the entire duration I was stood waiting there was a package of someone's uber eats order sat waiting to be collected. Was still there when I left with my order. Felt so sorry for the person who had ordered via them!

I'm glad you got a refund but it's terrible this day and age that there is no quick and easy way to get in touch.

Uber eats are crap. I tweeted before, it takes DAYS for them to return DMS and if they say they can't help, they switch off the function for you to comment.
