Christmas gift ideas for families…

I’m trying to be organised for Christmas this year and have a number of friends with 2/3 children each who we buy small gifts for. I was hoping to do something different this year & buy the children a joint gift they could all enjoy - or even a gift for the family… I’ve thought about board games but kind of want something more original. Has anyone any ideas??!!

Some kind of activity kit, like a cake to bake (ingredients, child size baking stuff, recipes) or a craft project to do together?

Night in kit went down well with my family last year. DVD, popcorn, hot chocolate, blanket / socks etc.

Did DIY mulled wine hamper for aunties/uncles/grown up cousins.

Or tickets to something you can all do together. Probably doesn't work as a small gift but I've bought breakfast with Santa for my husband's brother and sisters families and we're all going together.

Depending on budget a ticket to an attraction, or annual pass. Theatre or cinema tickets, Escape room, family rock climbing session, restaurant voucher, if just they kids a magazine subscription or something like first News, family pottery painting session, set of badminton rackets.
