Will it get delivered?

I want to send something to a friend. I know the street name and location and have found the postcode, but I don't know the exact house number. It'll be going via royal mail.

I've read before that often they will just flag it up and hand sort it and should get delivered, his name is quite distinctive. There are also only 8 properties listed at the postcode.

I know I could just ask him as he hasn't long moved, but I wanted it to be a complete surprise.

Am I just making a fuss over nothing?

Can you use Google street view to get the number? Based on an description he’s given of the house?

Yes agree with above, I used Google Street view to find a friend's house number.

Oh sorry I should have mentioned that. No the problem is it's a new build and it's not on there yet. And the original developers plot name has a different name to what the actual road is called now! I remember him telling me that his actual address isn't the one from the site map. Really weird!

Look him up in the BT directory (providing he has a landline and isn't ex-directory).

Also google his name and / or address, he might be on companies house under that address
