Baby friendly Chichester

Hello, DS (10 months) and I are staying near Chichester for the week. The weather is not looking good! Baby is crawling and full of energy. Parents are tired. Any baby friendly activities /places / cafes / soft play anyone can recommend? We have a car and are willing to drive about forty five minutes to get places. Considering the aquarium in Portsmouth but that’s the only indoor idea we have. Thank you!

I don't know Chichester very well but the aquarium in Portsmouth isn't very big! Personally I think it's quite expensive for what you actually get. There's a Natural History museum in Southsea not far from the aquarium which, whilst still smallish, might make it worth the visit.

Hi, I'm from Chichester and I have kids! The novium museum is worth a look, smith and western restaurant near the train station is fun. Air arena has a soft play cafe which is great but you'll need a car to get there. If you can drive to Bognor Regis, there is a soft play pub on the beach front and hotham park close by is amazing. I'm sure I'll think of more soon! ....

Weald and downland museum is also great but mostly outside so go on a dry day.

There is, or was, when I last looked, a soft play place near Climping.

The seafront at Bognor has quite a lot of kids play stuff and there’s a Ferris wheel now.
