What have I found in my car?

DH has a bad habit of leaving the car unlocked at night. Luckily we don’t keep anything of any value in it as someone has been through it. This happened about a month ago and then this morning I found this in the footwell of the back seat. I have no idea if someone has dropped it or if it’s fallen off one of the car seats! What is it??!

I don’t really want to touch it but the pointy end isn’t that sharp and the other end is wrapped in gaffa tape

It looks homemade. Is that tape around it?

Hmm I was thinking along those lines too. No need for it with my unlocked car!
