How do you cope with the 3 o clock slump at work?
I work in retail and it's getting busier with Christmas and the 3 o clock slump has really started getting to me. Looking for advice on how to cope with it.

I work in an office and luckily can be flexible with my lunch break (half and hour). I take it at 2pm or 2.30pm and this makes the afternoon shorter and before you know it it’s 5o’clock and there hasn’t been a slump

I don’t drink alcohol the night before I work as I’m knackered next day.
Try not to eat a heavy lunch, and I need sugar when the slump hits !

Cut right down on the amount of carbohydrate you're eating for lunch.

I have to do 6 hours work before lunch, so the slump comes just as I finish. Rammstein turned up to 11 sorts it out.

Low carb lunch for me, otherwise I'm practically face down on my keyboard. I had homemade tomato soup today, with a small pack of crackers and I'd chopped some small cubes of cheese with some walnut halves to have to nibble on through the day.

Rammstein is the cure!!!

My slump comes around 4pm and I have a handful of peanuts.
