Holiday recommendations - multi generational holiday

Morning everyone. I'm looking for a recommendation for a multi generational, child friendly holiday resort / hotel abroad for August next year. My lovely mum is coming too, so it needs to cater for the interests of two children (3 and 7), my husband and me (40s) and my mum (70s).

Must haves:
Child friendly - MUST have a kids club or nanny serviceWink
Good quality
Golf nearby if possible for my mum (not a deal breaker though!)
Affordable flights

Pre kids I was more into backpacking and travelling, so I've never been on this type of holiday before and am a bit stumped on where to start. I'm a bit nervous of a 'resort' type place... I'd love to look at left field or unusual options!

Please let me know any fab places you can recommend. Thanks so much

Dona Filipa Hotel or Cascade Hotel in Portugal

I can't recommend a particular hotel but perhaps Madeira is worth looking at. There are lots of golf courses there, good quality hotels and affordable flights. Firm the UK, it's about 4.5 hours.

Algarve has lots of options, you'll find Spanish resorts too. The TUI ones usually have decent kids clubs but check the age requirements as 3 is young.

Another option would be the Pierre et vacances resorts, some have golf even, both self catering and inclusive options

We had a fantastic holiday spanning three generations in Vilamoura in the Algarve. Beautiful Marina with lots of lovely restaurants , beaches and surrounded my golf courses.
