The first thing going through my head is all well and good but they are a prime theft item. We have had two stolen now at £5,000 a pop and this was 10 years ago now.
What's to stop them being unfixed from a wall and taken? Some will protect them in a cage I expect, but the majority of homes won't know this and won't be able to secure them.
Not many people have a valuable item screwed to the outside of the house in full view. It's not like a car that you can lock and alarm.
Hopefully the security will catch up by the time these are in use.
They do work very well, they just cost about £5,000+ to replace when stolen.
