They have a little bit. Neither taste quite the same as they used to. But they're passable.

Agree with all of these, particularly the PP saying M&S food. It used to be DELICIOUS and now it just isn't. Also the shop seems obsessed by making ultra processed WEIRD gimmicky shite, eg the below.

I've noticed recently Mini Cheddars don't taste nearly as cheesy as they used to!

The movie Paper House. I loved it as a teen, back in the 1990s. I talked DH into watching it with me a few years ago and it was dreadful!

I still love Marianne Dreams (the book it's based on) though.

Turkey twizzlers they were the BEST thing ever when I was a kid now they've changed the recipe and whatnot they're gross

Nik Naks used to be gorgeous when they were greasy. They changed them to be healthier and now they're like cardboard with no flavour.

Agree. DH bought me some the other day and I couldn't finish them - even looking at them on the shelf makes me feel sick.

@Whyyyyyyyohhhhhwhyyyyyy I only visited to say that I fully agree re: Turkey Twizzlers! Remember them in a really soft roll from the school canteen. They were so good. But now… completely awful!

Also, now I think of it, pretty much any Cadbury’s chocolate. Pringles.

They were so classy and rare in the 80s that my auntie had a special silver plated holder for them. Much like this (nicked from Google but very similar).

Wagon Wheels. In 1976 they were huge and divine. Now, not so much..

new improved versions of chocolate and fizzy pop are rank. I suppose it was ok when we went out after breakfast and only popped home for lunch before being out until tea on none school days, roaming as far as the next village a couple of miles away.

Agree with all of these - crispy pancakes, spaghetti hoops, angel delight, pot noodles, etc. I think they next of had a shit tonne of salt and flavourings in them to make them taste nice and now they have to be ‘healthier’ they taste bland. Plus I suppose companies are suing cheaper ingredients etc in order to make money.

I swear crispy pancakes used to have a lot more filling-now they're practically flat.

Fry's Turkish delights. Used to take a good ten minutes to bite the chocolate off the jelly, it's now that thin that it's impossible. Also revels, I used to be able to tell the difference between them. Not anymore. Also Terry's, bring back pyramint you bastards.

Monster Munch crisps.
Each crisp used to be the size of my hand. Now they are the size of my finger.
