Grandson (15) is coming tomorrow - I have tickets for 'Magic Goes Wrong' and James Bond and we'll go out to eat etc.

He's already done the usual Shard, Wheel, Tower of London etc.

Are you doing anything particularly interesting that I should know about? Smile

Escape room? Puttshack is really fun.

If he is into Harry Potter then there is the photographic exhibition.

Hi there, I write about London for families and have a teen myself. I've summed up the best of what's on this half term in this post. museummum.com/2021/10/15/october-half-term-london/

I'd recommend Silent Fall at Superblue - hold bubbles filled with scent. If you want more art, nearby the Ron Mueck is free, he does life like sculptures which play with scale and riff on life and death - expect nudity! And he might even get one of the signed Damian Hirst posters from his latest exhibition at Claridges Art Space. Marble Arch Mound is terrible, but the Antony James studio artwork inside is cool and free. You could easy do all 4 in an afternoon and enjoy the walk through Mayfair.

In the evenings at Leicester Square is a wands of lights installation, if he likes Harry Potter. Minalima is nearby, and the Dark Arts at Warner Bros Studios if you really want to push the boat out.

IWM is opening its new WW2 and Holocaust galleries, if he's interested in History.

I also have my eye on the new Beano exhibition opening this week at Somerset House.

Hope this helps, and let me know if you need any more suggestions!
