How was it treated? I am currently breastfeeding and got a small cut last week on my nipple. It became really painful with shooting pains and my doctor prescribed antibiotics. Over the weekend it has not improved and now seems swollen like abit of an abscess.
I'm obviously going to try and speak to the doctor again tomorrow. I'm worried as I'm still breastfeeding despite it being very painful as baby will not take a bottle. I am probably over thinking but I have even read you may need to go into hospital. Would I be able to take my baby in with me?
