Deed poll name change.

Hi we are thinking of changing our childrens last name so they have both our names and I'm just wondering, if you've changed your name by deed poll, what name goes on your wedding certificate the one on your birthday certificate or the name you changed it to?

When the child gets married in the future you mean?

your legal name at the time of the marriage goes on the wedding/marriage certificate

Well yeah then it's the deed poll that goes on the marriage certificate, I'm fairly certain my birth surname is in brackets or mentioned as other known as name on my certificate for history tracing.
