20yo Dd who obviously has more money than sense has booked a week with her bf next spring. They think they got a bargain at £900 as the other weeks were over 1k. 🙄

They had no idea they’re only allowed 4x 2hr slots in the pool and also thought all the other activities were free. They’re now having a panic as they have no money left for activities. Guess that’s their Xmas presents sorted anyway….spending money for activities and the pancake house!

Can anyone recommend what activities are good as they will need quite a few. Also do the huts have WiFi now, they’re just in a basic one. If so and they take a fire stick will they be able to get Netflix?

I love that you couldn't possibly just be being nice to your daughter because she's 20, you HAVE to be overstepping but I'm late 20's and was asking my MIL what is nice to do in Italy the other day 😅 I didn't ask for her idea on what time I should be having sex

They are fairly “mature” in their outlook. Neither drink or go clubbing. They like walking and bird watching so there’s certainly plenty of that to keep them entertained. I think they’ll enjoy it more than Spain. Have to admit however much I love CP not sure I’d want a week there. I’m not saying that obviously because that would be interfering and overstepping the mark. Grin. I think they like the idea of having their own little house for a week!

There's certainly not fuck all to do^

There's very little on your list to do if you've spent all your holiday budget on the accommodation and have little available on top for activities, which you thought were free but are actually far more expensive than out in the real world.

That’s what I thought, they’ll enjoy playing house.

Well in that case maybe it's worth it to them to just stay in the lodge for a week.

DS and his GF hired a really lovely log cabin somewhere in the Sherwood Forest area this summer it was about half that price. They did a lot of hiking and nature trials. They are also not in to clubbing. They had dinner out in a couple of lovely bistro pubs, watched Netflix and I assume chilled a lot. I think as their first holiday away together they just liked having no parents about.

We went to CP a few times when my children were small. My daughter booked a holiday there with her boyfriend when she was in her 20s. He had never been . He loved it as much as she had always done.
