Shall I go to bingo on my own?

Hi all. Used to take my mum years ago to a good old fashioned bingo hall. I am thinking of things to do of an evening that I can just go to on my own. Does anyone have recent experience? Will I just look sad or do lots of people go alone? I can't remember from years back. I just know you couldn't sit in some people's lucky seat!

A few people go alone. One woman at my local brings her knitting for in the interval. I doubt you'll stand out and you won't have to split your winnings with anyone .

You're quite right. Thank you. I am going. I don't know what's up with me, I seem to have lost all confidence!

I haven’t been for a while (well who has eh?!) but when we went as a gang, the ones who were alone were very friendly with us, helping us out with which game to play etc. I think its lovely, and they don’t stand out as being alone there.

I did it. Thanks for the encouragement. It was fine. There were a few people there on their own and the caller was going so fast, I didn't have time to feel self conscious. Am now a member and will happily go again.
