Is this van weird and if so should I report it to anyone?

Bit of a weird one but as I went to work at 9 am this morning I walked past a van on my street, side door wide open, full of goods with a small pile of them also by the side of the van in the street. There was no one around so I assumed it belonged to some workmen and they were inside a house. On my way back from work, the van and contents still in the same position. I passed it for a third time about 30 minutes ago whilst going to Tesco and the door is still wide open/ contents in the street. Should I report this to someone or just mind my own business? I know it’s not illegal to leave your van and contents open but it feels strange that it has been like this for over nine hours?

That does sound odd. Did you notice if the van had a company logo or name on it anywhere?

@SoItWas I didn’t notice a logo, it has the standard yellow and red stripes on the back and there was two blue hard hats in the front , I’ll take a look for a logo next time I go out

I would deffo report. Sounds wrong. Non emergency obvs. Or company of logo obvious or anything on its dashboard. Depending on where you live I’d Chuck the packages in and shut the door. There’s not someone in there is there ? Unwell I mean. Sounds v odd

Sounds like it has been stolen and dumped.

You could ring the non emergency number just in case it's been reported stolen. I would also have a look on your local Facebook groups in case anyone else has posted about it.

I'd report it in case the person who was driving it has had an accident or fallen ill nearby

Thanks all, I’ve just been to double check that there is no one hurt inside, there isn’t. No logo or number either but did notice the drivers front door is also ajar. Going to report to mom emergency police now
