Does anyone have one? I’ve been coveting one for ages and need to hear people tell me how wonderful they are and they’re worth every penny...

Is this an ad? Those are gorgeous!

peridito · 16/10/2021 20:08

They do look lovely...

I love them but they are more than I’d choose to pay for a clock. After all, they tell the same time as every other clock... I need people to tell me they’re worth every penny. Or I need to drink gin and order one anyway.

Mine was admittedly a gin fuelled purchase, but not one I regret. It's beautiful. The autumn/Halloween stickers arrived today and I have the Advent ones from last year - I love the option of changing it up.

Little disappointed it wasn't this bramwell brown you were talking about

But they are nice clocks I might need one now ....

Thanks, @123feraverto, at least the fact I’ll be having nightmares about that bear means I’ll have more time to debate splashing the cash on the clock of my dreams...

Thank you. @LoveMyClock, that was just the reply I needed. I’m rather taken with the Halloween stickers but need the clock first...

Ooooh!

I had never heard of these before. They are amazing and now I yearn for one!

SkiingIsHeaven · 17/10/2021 07:00

We have one. I love it.

The customer service is also fantastic. We had an issue with the delivery going missing but they were great and sorted it out with no fuss.

KeyboardWorriers · 17/10/2021 07:11

I love the look of them.
However I was in a cafe that had one on the wall and it was broken, which put me off a bit!

peridito · 17/10/2021 09:09

You can get stickers to change the look according to the season !!!

Now I really want one .

And goodness me only £450 - so if it only lasted a year ,less than £1.50 a day !!
Trying to justify buying one ? Nooooooooo.

EishetChayil · 17/10/2021 09:19

I thought "lovely!" until I scrolled down to the price! A bit steep!

DueyCheatemAndHow · 17/10/2021 09:26

I now really really want one and trying to work out if the standard blue goes with our kitchen enough to justify the cost...

SparePantsAndLego · 17/10/2021 11:21

Solid customer service is good news but broken clocks, less so.

Given your maths, @peridito, I may take up smoking, so that I can give it up and spend the money I’ll have saved on a clock.
Perfect logic.

Now to see if they ever issue discount codes and then it’s gin and shopping, later on, of course!

Did you buy the clock?

I'm seriously considering the tide clock, I can afford it but it seems like a huge amount to spend on something I don't actually need.

SparePantsAndLego · 04/11/2021 21:22

I’ve not ordered one...yet, I’m debating the colour. I think I like the copper. Unless I’m mistaken, I think they’ve discontinued the tide clocks and only do weather ones these days.

SylviaTrench · 04/11/2021 22:12

They're bringing back the Tide clocks, I'm debating the copper.

@123feraverto I thought the exact same thing! But not a Jolly Tall clock in sight! 😂
NannyGythaOgg · 04/11/2021 22:31

Until they make one that I can stop or turn back at will, and it does the same to real time I wouldn't dream of spending that on a clock.

Give me one that I can actually stop or reverse time with, then I might consider it. Even if there was a limit on how far back I could turn time.

BeetyAxe · 04/11/2021 22:35

I also covet one of these and have done for years.I’ve asked for money from anyone who might possibly gift me something at Christmas so I can buy myself one!

ThisBear · 04/11/2021 22:36

I'm also here for the Jane Hissey teddy content Grin

They are lovely clocks though (if a bit short on bears).

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 04/11/2021 22:41

@ThisBear @123feraverto @mummabubs I’m also with you and deeply disappointed!

SparePantsAndLego · 04/11/2021 23:55

Oooooh! I had no idea, @SylviaTrench - something else to consider now. I’m hung between copper and blue...

The tide one has caught my eye now!

CurlsLDN · 05/11/2021 09:49

Yes I have one, I saved up for it after launching my own business and it's one of my favourite things. Everyone who comes round comments on it, I just think they are really beautiful, handmade things, made properly by a company who cares about their product.

From my time saving I never saw a discount on bramwell browns site, but Graham & green often had discount codes and referral codes so I bought mine via there and got some money off which helped
