WiFi question

wrigglewriggles · 16/10/2021 08:57

I'm getting this message (picture attached) when I look at my WiFi settings. No other device I have access to has the same message.
Does this mean there is a problem with my phone?

Check with your ISP, they may have network settings in place which block these sites.

Is it just on one device or all devices on your Wifi?

As far as I can tell it's only on my phone.

My ex (who I still have to live with - one month to go!) set up the WiFi. I'm not even sure which isp provider we're with.

I'm basically wondering if there is a way my ex can be doing this or is this a problem with the WiFi?

Do you get the same error message if you're on 4G?

I kept getting the message regardless of what I was on.
Mentioned it to my ex and he just suggested turning the router off and on again.
I did that and turned my phone off and all seems ok again.

I'm a little paranoid about the ex and technology so am aware I may have been jumping to conclusions and thinking this was more than it was.

Check it with your network provider (EE, Voda) and your ISP as well.

If it doesn't work when you're on 4G it's either your handset or the network. Do you have security settings on the handset to lock it down?
