Hand blender and mixer?!

Years ago I bought a Kenwood food processor. I think it's crap. It takes up loads of space, the chopper is rubbish and the whisk attachment was plastic and cracked when my butter was a bit too hard.

So I've used a stick blender and hand held beater. Both were great but both have died (Sainsbury's cheap and crap).

Is there such a thing as something that does both? Can I blend and have something that can beat up a buttercream?

Is there a reason why you have to have a 2in1? I have exactly what you described, stick blender with attachments plus handheld mixer, and wouldn't be without either.

No i was just hoping such a thing existed but it clearly doesn't! I've just broken my arm and work have kindly sent me a voucher so I've treated myself to a Kenwood mixer and a blender.

I may just accept my fate and give away the food processor.
