Bad eater and sleeper

Can anyone relate? My son 3 in Jan has always been a bad eater even when he was on bottles he was always sick. Then weaning he wouldn't eat blended food so I tried jars which he wouldn't eat. Now at nearly 3 he won't eat hardly anything but inside a sausage pizza apples and all sweet things. It's a nightmare! He started pre school few months ago and he won't eat lunch there. Same with sleep he won't sleep unless he is on me or near me. He still naps when he is made to but starting to slowly stop. He takes an hour and a half to fall to sleep on a good night! He also bangs his head in frustration or when he is happy or excited. Professionals don't seem to help or advise me an have asked if it could be autism but no one seems to have any advice.

We had a selectively eating, poorly sleeping DS at age 3. There was nothing wrong with him, he was just not the beat eater or sleeper! I'd recommend the book My Child Won't Eat by Carlos Gonzalez (a paediatrician) and the Facebook group The Beyond Sleep Training Project (very gentle, you'll find lots of families with kids who don't sleep alone - which, it should be noted is completely normal when you consider global practices or Britain throughout history, modern society is quire an outlier expecting small children to sleep alone).
