Wireless charging novice

Thinking of getting an iPhone 12 mini. It has no charging port or headphone jack, so I know I'll have to buy new wireless headphones and charger.

Charging cables are relatively cheap, so I have them everywhere - bedroom, study, living room, kitchen and car - as well as one in my bag with a power bank. I'm used to charging wherever and whenever I want, without interrupting what I'm doing on my phone.

Will wireless charging change this flexibility?

I thought this meant it recharged wirelessly:

you can wireless charge but theres still a lightening port

i have the iphone 13 mini thats still got the lightening port
