Quick wedding

DP and I would like to marry, ideally before the year is out.

I know we could do a registry office wedding and we will if we have to but it would be nice to have more of an ‘event.’ Not huge, just for families and friends.

I’m thinking November might be a quiet month for weddings but is this just crazily unrealistic? If not, January?

Just booked mine today. Gave notice for the middle of November. Perfectly doable if you're happy with a registry office and/or hotel but not the Plaza that gets booked years in advance!

It’s absolutely doable if you’re flexible with what you want. I’d decide on the date and venue(s) ASAP so you can get the invitations out, and everything else will come after as there’s less of a time pressure on the ‘frills’ so to speak.
