Best memories of childhood?

I was just reading another thread from a poster about sorting out a proper breakfast laid out for her family every morning. It brought back such lovely memories of my grandparents always doing this when we stayed, and having proper cups of tea out of the cosy, and lots of eggs and toast ready for us when we woke up.

What sort of things do you remember from your childhood like this?

Grandad reading to me and giving me the best back rubs ever!
Hanging out with him and Grandma...at the bingo or bowling, or at church fêtes and jumble sales. There was always something fun.
Grandma's delicious home made cakes.
Me and my best friend playing basketball with Grandma and laughing so much I wet myself!!
Staying the night and going to a toasty bed warmed with an electric blanket.
I loved them so much and miss them every day.

Apart from that I miss the seemingly endless summers, running round in boiling hot weather and eating lolly ices!
