Is this ok to ask my LL? Or is there something else I should suggest?
I get UC and they pay a portion of my rent directly to my LL. I realised yesterday that they increased the amount to her in august so the amount I pay to her since then should have been less. My fault for not being observant. The amount I am in credit by is more than what I am now due to pay. Rent is due next week so I was going to text her explaining my mistake and asking if it’s ok not to pay anything this month and a reduced amount next month which would bring us up to date and then the correct amount from December?
