I have Covid, should I send the kids?

Ok, so I have tested positive for Covid and the kids have tested negative. I had both vaccines fairly early on (last in May I think) and it's been pretty mild so far like a bad cold.
I'm on my own and school is like 2 mins away for the youngest 2 (10,8). I have neighbour mums who sometimes help out if I'm late to collect from work etc.
But I wondered how others felt about it. I know the rules are to send them in and I've been told to do this by school and T and T but I just feel a bit awkward as one of the mums knows in my daughter's class and I don't want people feeling uncomfortable with it even though the kids are negative and do not have symptoms.

What have other parents done in this scenario?

Why would other people feel uncomfortable with you doing what you are told to do by the school and NHS/Gov?
I understand that it feels odd as it’s different (opposite) to what we were told before but that’s what the guidance says now.

In your situation it's a bit difficult because how can you get them there and your asking others to be in proximity also?

For us it was the other way around dc had it but I was made to work.

Thankfully and incredibly I didn't catch it but it was horrible, I told colleagues and wore a mask.

But in your situation you do have it so how can you get them safely to school!

Thanks 2ls. Good to hear your opinion and I agree.

Kitchen, no I would not ask them to take my kids. I would take the car down and drop them so i wouldn't be getting out of the car.
