Was looking out of interest at 4 bed rental properties in our area. We aren't looking to rent as we are saving to buy but when my baby is older, if we haven't saved enough, we will need an extra bedroom.
Out of our entire, quite large, county there are only 12, 4 bed+ properties to rent and 6 of those are disproportionately priced student only accommodations. In the county next to ours there are 8 and again half of those are sharers in a large town, and in our other neighbouring county it's the same thing so it seems to be a common thing across the region, if not the entire country.
What has happened? Where are all the 4 bed rentals for families?
