Great Yarmouth

We are travelling to Great Yarmouth for a weekend over half term. Would anyone be able to advise on some nice places to visit in the area? Thank you.

There's a lovely model village at Great Yarmouth, might not be everyones cup of tea but I loved it! Merrivale it's called. If I remember rightly we went during the day but the ticket gets you back in at night time when it's all illuminated.

If you have a car and small kids Bewilderwood is fabulous, we can stay all day there. Loads of outdoor adventure play areas and fun stuff to do.

Sealife centre
Arcades along the seafront
Norwich castle
High lodge (long drive but worth it for a nice foresty day out)
Caister beach - nicer than Yarmouth
Southwold - classier and posher than Yarmouth and has the nicest gelato shop, Harris and James
Framlingham castle
Beccles - boats and nice little shops

We live in south Norfolk and go for a short break at Yarmouth every year. Our dc love it.
