Tell me what to expect tomorrow please x

Have a hospital appointment tomorrow with a dr at the breast clinic.
Was referred by GP as was having pain in armpits and subsequently found a lump, then found another lump on other breast. I’m 33. What will they do at the clinic? I’ve searched old Mumsnet threads and seen some people say that they may do a biopsy and remove cysts there and then. Jesus. What ? I don’t think I have fully prepared myself for this. If anyone could offer advice that would be great x

You will see a consultant who will examine your breasts. They could then send you for a mammogram and an ultrasound if anything shows up of concern they will do an ultrasound guided biopsy. That takes 1-2 weeks to come back but you'll prob see the consultant again after all of that before they send you home.

Try not to worry, there is a muscle that runs under your armpit that can cause the pain and the lump could be a cyst or breast fissure or anything.
