What would your DH’s ideal day with you and the kids be?

Looking for inspiration for DHs birthday. I need to plan a day that he and the kids (baby, 4yo, 12yo) will all really enjoy. Open to the idea of a couple of nights away too.

Science Museum, Natural History Museum. Maybe the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. Sensing a theme here? If we were going to go away, somewhere with a lot of history and good museums.

Mine loves revisiting places his parents took him as a child, showing them to our kids and seeing how they have changed. Has he ever mentioned anything like that?
