So Im not sure is the same in the whole Uk (probably the same) but here in Scotland from like I was 20 weeks pregnant until baby is 1 the dental care is free. My friend told me she had root canal treatment free while that time wich even with nhs "support" is somewhere around £170 (well, for me was this much for a big tooth) my teeth was so bad my whole life, it's genetic probably because I look after them go for checks up often ect. (My mom had very bad teeth too, even worse than mine when she was young) While i was pregnant i had no problem at all. I only been for check ups. Now Im breastfeeding and probably this not helps, but my teeth started to be very breakable. It was like this before that too, but now it's getting be a bit serious. I have a tooth, I had root canal on that more than 10 years ago, since that so many pieces broke from it, and im afraid Im gonna lose it. Its a very big tooth so I wont be happy lose it 😅 I have a new dentist he suggested a crown but I need to go to a check up appt first, I only went for an emergency appt cos a piece broke down ant he placed a temporary filing on it (already broke down 2 weeks later) and he said on the check up We can make a plan for it. This appt 4 weeks away im afraid when the time comes will be too late 😅 but anyway if he decide to go with the crown that would be free too? 🤔 anyone had teeatment like this while entitled to free dental care?
