A thank you to my teacher

Was reading this article in which Patrick Stewart talks about the teacher who got him into acting. I thought it might be nice to thank Mrs Moyle who many years ago fostered my interest in biology and behaviour which turned me from a rather unengaged sixth former into someone who now teaches others about a subject I am passionate about.

Please feel free to add any teachers who have inspired you.

Mrs Hedley in what would now be called Year 4. Instead of seeing my precocious reading ability and imagination as a nuisance she encouraged it. I didn't become a great writer or anything but I stopped feeling I had to hide it. I also probably became a teacher because of her.

Mr Fawcett, O Level Maths teacher, who took everything back to basics and found visual ways to explain concepts so I got a decent grade in my exam.

Thank you Miss C in Year 2. I remember so much I learned that year. Music, topic work, books you read to us, scripture, creative writing, trips. You must have been a fab teacher.
Thank you Mrs N. History teacher and form tutor. You exposed me to other points of view than the unpleasant, narrow minded ones I was brought up with.
