Fun London couple weekend

Looking for some good recommendations please!

I know the typical London touristy stuff well so looking for some different stuff to do.

Me and DH are going to London in Feb for the weekend, seeing a band on the Saturday night but looking for things to fill our daytimes, Friday evening and bars for after the gig Saturday.

We may go to the theatre on the Friday eve, just got to convince DH first!

Bonus points for bars, pubs, restaurants that have fun activities or talking points in (we are in a very happy marriage but after 10 years conversation sometimes runs out 😂)

Friday evening book tickets for the news revue at the cabal theatre cafe in Maida Vale. It's really really brilliant.

Canal not cabal ...

Board game cafe or virtual reality arcade bar? Piano or jazz bar maybe? Can give lots of recommendations but would help to narrow down the type of things you like.

Go to Cahoots just off Carnaby Street, one of the best bars ever!

Ooo yes I’ve been wanting to go to Cahoots for years, definitely on my list!

For fun restaurants try Evans and Peel it’s a detective agency/restaurant and cocktail bar - prohibition era with live music on Fridays and Saturdays

@Lj8893 Make sure you book in, it's a pain otherwise.

Bradley's off Tottenham Court Road is great too if you like the dive bar feel, it has the best jukebox in London.

I'm always a fan of a Be At one happy hour too.
