Relocating to Gloucestershire… help!

Hi

We are relocating to Gloucestershire with our 4 month old son.

My husband lived in Minchinhampton as a child for a few years and I worked in Cirencester for a few years but that’s all we know of the area.

Can those that live in the area give us some advice on where to live and where not to live?

Ideally we need around Cirencester or north Gloucestershire… we can go south towards Swindon way or east towards Oxford!

It would help if you say where you/your dh is going to be based workwise as there are some bad traffic pockets in Glos.

@gonnabeok he hasn’t been told yet where he will be assigned, only that it’s Gloucestershire! We just want to move more north/west Gloucestershire so closer to family based in Shropshire 😊
