Birthday present for an 8 year old girl

DD turns 8 in a couple of weeks and aside from a few items of clothing I’ve got her I have no idea what to get her!!
She loves her Nintendo switch (her favourite games are pokemon, animal crossing and mine craft) so could get her a game for this but not sure which one?

She’s a typical girly girl who is obsessed with cats, unicorns, mermaids. She’s really interested in history too, particularly history of London and the Egyptians.

Any ideas? Budget of about £50ish.

Meant to add, she has no idea what she wants either! The only thing she has asked for is a sewing kit which my dm has got her.

Day out to a museum? Scooter, teddies, squishmallows, notebooks and jewellery would all be in my DDs wish list

Mermaid tail blanket
Aquabeads animal crossing set
Lego dots bracelet

Second the Lego dots, lots of different kits, jewellery, photo frames key rings etc. There are also some v cute Lego brickheadz. And squishmallows. Books? Unusual art supplies, like outline pens. Special day out for her to the Museum of London and something to spend in the gift shop (assuming you’re in London or can get there). A bag, my dd loves her more ‘grown up’ style handbag/satchel from the inevitable Smiggle.

My DD also loves a book called “all about me: my thoughts, my style, my life”. It has bits for you to fill-in, quizzes etc. She’s bought it for a couple of friends for their birthday because they all really like it. Available in WH Smith or Amazon.

A cake with a replica of her pet on it

Oooh yes to squishmallows!

Final suggestion from me, my daughter would also really like a Polaroid camera, one of her friends has one and they love taking pictures with that. Not sure how much it cost though, might be more than £50.
