Blackgang Chine or Robin Hill? Or another?!

Headed over to the Isle of Wight soon with my two year old (dinosaur mad, which is probably relevant!) and struggling to decide what to do. Anyone live there or been lately? Blackgang Chine seems more appropriate for his age group but the trip advisor reviews are terrible. TIA!

We did IoW in June. Blackgang Chine was brilliant for a 2 and 4 year old and plenty of dinosaurs! There's a walk through dinosaur animatronics - so they can see 'real' dinosaurs!
Lots of play bits and little themed areas.
Food choices are pretty dire however.

Mini golf in Shanklin was pirate or dinosaur themed and pretty quick with small ones.

Travel time across the island is decent but check tide times if you're planning to visit the actual footprint beaches. We missed the tides so will have to go again.

I second Blackgang Chine. Its really retro but fab for kids. Food awful though so take a picnic. and it is expensive. Robin Hill is waaay overrated and not worth the money in my opinion (had holiday home on IoW for many years - only ever went to Robin Hill once - whereas we used to have season passes for Blackgang!)
Don't miss Tapnell Farm Park if you've time - my kids fave ever place on IoW.
Sandown has Dinosaur Isle and Dino mini golf plus little go karts and jumping nets.

We were thinking of doing Dinosaur Isle in the morning and something else in the afternoon. Tapnell Farm looked really good - torn now between there or Blackgang Chine! Looks like the go karts and jumping nets are closed during the week now annoyingly (but at least rules that out)
