Tooth whitening that doesn’t hurt and doesn’t damage teeth? Any such thing?

I’m so conscious of my aging and yellowing teeth. I’m interested in some kind of whitening treatment, but looking for recommendations. I keep hearing that they don’t work and damage your teeth. TIA.

Composite resin. A friend had it done, looks fab. I’m going to book in.

I had mine done via the dentist ! Amazing result and didn't hurt. Bonding isn't permanent and can look fake if not done well and it's expensive.

@gunnersgold bonding is cheaper than teeth whitening in my area!

Boutique whitening - your dentist takes impressions and gets moulds made. They give you gel to put in at night. After about 3 weeks you see a lightening of the dentine. It can make teeth sensitive so use sensitive toothpaste. Varies in cost but you can ring around and ask.

The laser whitening doesn’t really do much other than slightly dehydrate the teeth.

Start by getting a good clean and polish with a hygienist as that can improve matters.

Weird , it's £200 per tooth at the same dentist that charged £300 for whitening .
