In protest of new oil fields being opened, using a large statue of Boris Johnson, dripping in oil.

Sat in the road in Whitehall in front of the Thatcher Gates.

Did not set foot on any part of Downing St.

From the title I had images of thousands of vegan friendly loafer wearing, knitted cardigan lovers storming parliament.

Upon further research, they erected a statue.

Fucking hell - the government must be shitting it.

As for Boris - he isn't even there!

Is there any reason to take the Mickey though? Clearly Greenpeace dudes care enough to get off their asses and take action about something they believe in. Regardless of whether I agree I have real respect for people that do that.

The problem is it is an empty gesture and the likes of Extinction Rebellion and the other tossers aren't exactly endearing themselves to the public.
