Polyester-free Christmas sweatshirts?

Anyone seen any nice Christmassy sweatshirts? I know it's early but I am fed up and want to think about fun stuff. I'd love one that is plastic-free and not navy or grey.

Thank you! The first is grey which I'm trying to avoid as it doesn't feel happy to me. I like the green Joules one a lot but I wonder if knitted will cope with small children as well as a sweatshirt and also £60 is a bit steep. I definitely don't want a throwaway one though as I'd really like to cut down on waste so maybe I need to be looking at more expensive ones if they'll definitely last a few seasons?

Do you do second hand? I got a lovely Joules one from a charity shop last year. They usually start putting out Christmas clothes soon!

Yes, I've literally just been looking on eBay. The charity shops here didn't have any out at the weekend (sane!) but I guess it won't be too long

It is pretty much a polyester nightmare out there for Christmas things! Are you crafty? Perhaps a plain jumper with some nice bauble appliqués or small Pom poms in a Xmas tree shape?

SkippettyDoDah · 11/10/2021 22:24

Not crafty at all but I'm leaning from doing things with DCs so maybe I should give it a go!

There are lots of iron on Christmas themed designs on eBay.

If you find a plain sweatshirt in a colour you like, you could iron the design on yourself. I did one on a T-Shirt a few years ago, it’s still in my wardrobe and has washed well with no peeling at all.

That's a great idea, I'll have a look!
