Decent quality sheepskin ankle boots to wear as slippers - any suggestions?

I want proper sheepskin ones with a decent sole (not that lethally slippery croc-material crap!). This is so I can wear them around the house as we have freezing cold stone floors but also to let the dog out/get some firewood in etc. Ones that are sold as slippers seem to be really crap and have the croc-material soles of doom so I need to look at actual boots I think.

I don't mind spending some money if they will actually last! I've had 3 pairs so that haven't lasted even a year before the soles fell off, but they're so gloriously toasty that I really want to find a good pair.

I wear Emu Australia micro boots as slippers, I never wear them outside going anywhere, only to go out to the bins or shed.

Westmorland Sheepskins have lots of slippers, some with hard soles.

www.susiesheepskinboots.co.uk/ got mine from here and they are fabulous. Decent vibram soles too even on the slippers.

Shepherd of Sweden's Annie slippers are marvellous. One of the best gifts I've been given for years. They're expensive, and not something I would ever have considered buying for myself, but now that I've owned a pair I can't see myself wearing anything else.

Celtic Sheepskin do some lovely ones.

I've got slippers that have lasted 3 years so far, worn every day.
And boots that are 8 years old worn outdoors when it's snowy, and they are really toasty too.

I wear fitflop boots for the same reasons you have www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/mukluk-shorty-shearling-lined-suede-ankle-boots-p-Y88#899

Second Celtic Sheepskin. House slipper boots. Or original celt boots for a chunkier sole and a choice of colours. They are outdoor boots but completely fine indoors. I have both types and really just put on whichever pair is nearest at the time! Pricey but worth it. Very cosy and long-lasting.

I like the look of the Shepherd of Sweden ones. Do they hold their shape or do they stretch a little over time?

Fit flop mukluks. Utter heaven. The only problem is that, subsequently, all other footwear feels like torture!
