Just took my overtired son out for a drive so that he would fall asleep and it reminded me..

...a thread on here during lockdown where a poor mum was struggling with her ASD son and wondered if she could just go for a drive with him so he could nap as he wouldn't sleep any other way- so many people were like NO THAT IS AGAINST THE RULES! And I really felt for her.

It's so strange to think of that time isn't it.

Lord. It felt like a cruel response then. Now it seems utterly ridiculous.

Hope you got him off to sleep ok. And hope nobody accuses you of wasting fuel but sadly, they probably will.

Oh yes. And the bonkers threads about if having a banana on a walk was ok.

Oh I didn't even think of that Grin, thank you, he's not been very well so luckily it took approximately 5 minutes for him to nod off!

And I remember seeing pcsos on the news have a go at a man having a drink in his front garden.

And no one was allowed to even sit on a bench for a rest when out for a walk.
