Am I over reacting?

My son is under a paediatrician who should see my son every 6 months for a review of his condition and the medication he takes.

Before the pandemic he would be seen every 7-9 months and it was longer between apps due to more kids being added to the list. (I was told about the list when phoning it's not an assumption)

The paediatrician phoned me for a review last April , so 2020. This was the last time we have spoken to him. Now when I phoned before (2019) it wasn't just a simple phone him and talk. I called three different numbers before I got through to someone who could pass on a message. It was stressful.

If he could call me during the pandemic that shows he was doing his appointments this way which is fine as it was all he could do. If he is now doing face to face I should receive a letter for my son to show up.
I've received nothing.

Am I over reacting to want to take this further and make an official complaint because the complete radio silence we have received from him?

It's being 17 months of no contact.

My son hasn't seen his Paediatrician for about the same time tbh. I was also supposed to have a phone consultation and didn't hear anything, my son was discharged from the service. I called up to complain, he was put back on after I made sure they had the correct number, and I still haven't had a phone consultation.

Difficult one. Covid has massively changed the way the NHS euns. There is no question that your son needs to be seen and soon but will a complaint change anything or achieve the resolution you are looking for? Doubtful. All yhe best OP I hope you get contact soon
