Primary School info, Glasgow

Hi,

I’ve recently moved to the Southside of Glasgow with my family. Our three year old will be starting school next year and we’re in the catchment for Tinto Primary school. I haven’t been able to find out much about it and it looks like we won’t be able to visit because of covid restrictions. Does anyone have any experience of the school? Not sure if I should apply outwith to Merrylee as it looks like a nicer place, but only going on the handbook and can’t really tell from that!

Glasgow's schools are very full so (unless you commit to moving) you will have to seriously consider your catchment place.

What's your child's DOB, btw? If they are a Jan/Feb baby, remember you can defer a year. I can't work it out this late at night, sorry if I'm wrong.
