Trendy restaurant in West End

I would like to take my dd and her friend to the west end to dinner for her bday, can't get in to the Dior restaurant in Selfridges (which looks lovey and not too expensive).

Was thinking of the Ivy grills/kitchen but both my dd and her friend are vegan. There's only 1 vegan option on the menu.

Can anyone suggest anywhere hip and trendy (I am quite out of touch) Grin

Sushisamba. Despite its name, it does have a vegan menu!
Club Mexicana is vegan and v trendy but it’s more of a cafe.
Ave Mario is cool.

There, was a review of an Indian restaurant in the Guardian that looks amazing. www.theguardian.com/food/2021/oct/08/bibi-london-w1-restaurant-review-grace-dent

A few veggie options, but I don't know if they're vegan.

EL&N have various restaurants around London and are very “trendy”. The menus differ in each location so have a look on their website.

For a treat for two vegans, I would definitely find a real vegan restaurant. There are plenty in and around West End.

Then check out reviews etc or ask for vegan restaurants on social media.

I'm sure they would appreciate going to a fully vegan place.

I don’t know if it’s trendy but it’s certainly quirky and lovely, Sarastro is nice.

The Happy Cow app will tell you all the places that are vegan (or have vegan options) in the area.

Mildred's in Lexington Street.

A vegan institution! Amazing.

Thank you for all the replies. So 2 more friends are coming, neither vegan and DD says she doesn't want to restrict her friends by going to a pure vegan restaurant - just somewhere with vegan.

She eats sushi - so sushi samba might be an option.

Thanks for all the replies.

I love Brasserie Zedel at Piccadilly. You can start with a drink in the American Bar and you should check if there is anything on at Crazy Coqs because then you could take in a 90 minute cabaret show as well.

I'm not vegan. Or Veggie but highly recommend Mildred's as a treat for any foodie

Also look at Daisy Green

Theres one in soho (scarlett) and another in Heddon street (ziggy)
