Can you ever go back?

I'm starting to think I have made a big mistake changing jobs. I've been at my new job since June and I'm not liking it. I dread going to work everyday and daydream about calling in sick (wouldn't get paid if I did).

My old job wasn't perfect obviously but I miss my friends from there and it's more what I like to do. I mainly moved for more money but it hasn't worked out that way as after the deduction to my tax credits I'm getting exactly the same.

So my question is do you think you should ever go back? They have spaces and I was told to come back whenever I wanted so would you?

If more money was the only reason you moved and you're not actually earning more, then yes, I would go back.

If thee were other reasons and these haven't changed, then I would think very carefully about it.

I couldn't but I've been in companies where people have come back so you should do what is best for you.

Yes go back if the only reason you left was more money & you are not getting it.

However if there were other reasons that you left then look for something else instead.

I went back once. I was on a long term temp contract as they were moving the jobs to India so I left for another perm job elsewhere, I hated it so went back for another 5 months or so. I had to leave after that anyway as said job had moved.
