Coffee shops working- how often do I need to buy a drink?

Noisy at home with two little DC so I've pooped out to work in a cafe. Independent cafe, loads of spare tables. How often do I need to buy a drink to make it not cheeky that I'm sat here planning my lessons for the week?

Every hour I recon

At the Nero I go to one coffee's good for 3 hours or so before I start to feel guilty. I'd say more frequently at an independent.

Oh I was thinking every 30mins to not feel rude but not sure I can drink that much coffee. I'll be buzzing by the end of it.

Every hour. You can always alternate with decaf.

Get a cold drink to mix it up?

Once an hour. Swap coffee for a mint tea or similar to reduce caffeine intake.

I would say one an hour if not too busy, if ramped and no tables free then I would say more frequently.

An hour and a half if you have cake with it.

Alternate with cake and soft drinks at regular intervals and you're fine
