Stockpiling water???

Why in the DM are they showing lots of people stockpiling water?? Is it going to stop coming out of our taps? Have I missed something!?

There's been an outbreak of E. coli reported in Kent (I think?)

E. coli has been reported in tap water in parts of Surrey and Kent. You can still drink it, just have to boil it first.

Ah so I have missed something. Can’t blame them then!! The article was misleading and don’t mention the outbreak. DM took the opportunity to write about food shortages at Christmas again. I thought it was a bit weird people buying lots of water for Christmas!
