Stopping red hair fade

Anyone with dyed red hair use any products that revive the colour or prevent it fading.

I love my dyed red colour, but it fades so fast and looses its vibrancy.

Artificial hair colour always fades and Red fades the fastest. You can reduce the fade by using good salon quality shampoo, and washing with lukewarm water. Using heat tools on a lower heat setting and using a red pigment conditioner to add a colour gloss.

Look out for the Revlon Nutri Color creme. Used to be called Revlon Nutri Balls. They do 3 red shades depending on your type of red.

Otherwise, but a red direct dye colour such as Manic Panic and mix some into a white conditioner and apply to damp hair and leave for about 20 minutes before rinsing. It’s a semi colour so won’t cause damage and you can reapply as often as you need.

Osmo red colour revive. It’s a conditioner. I’ve had pillarbox red hair for many years and this is the best thing ever. About £10 on amazon.
