Whats gumtree etiquette? Im selling something..

So i had someone message me saying they wanted it, so i said ok but youd need to collect it, then they said they'd need to contact someone else to collect it for them. So now im waiting for them to get back to me.
Meanwhile 4 more people are asking is it still available and one guy can collect soon.
What do i do? I feel like ive told rhe first person they can have it but i dont know when theyll get back to me to come and get it. Or if they'll come back at all....
I dont want to say its been sold to the others that are interested incase this first person lets me down...

Ive not sold stuff before, nit sure what to do. Even if i message the first person and say when will you collect it, until they are here its not sold, and i dont want to turn others away.
What so i do??

Sell it to whoever can come. Gumtree is full of messers as my late dad would have said.

But i cant say to folk its available and have them turn up and its been sold like 5 mins before they arrived

You can advertise it as being available to first comer. Must collect on XXX. Your goods, your terms of trade. If people want it they need to get off their asses and move quickly.

Just message again and say do they want it as several others interested.

And those interested say you’re giving the first person until x time to respond and you’ll let them know.

Ahh didn't realise you had already given your address. I never give whole address until they say they are on there way.
