Can I ask for inspiration for a new area to move to? This will be for 1 DC who is 8, husband, and me. We currently live in South Glouc in a nice, small-town but we don't fit in. Have also had a naff few years and am thinking of moving somewhere completely different for a clean break.
We need to be around an hour away (driving) from the outskirts of North Bristol as I will travel to work twice a week. My DC is quite shy so are thinking a small primary school may be best.
We would again prefer to live in a small town or large village with easy access to city\shopping district etc being about 30-40min away. We have a dog so enjoy walking her offlead in field\woodland areas.
We have a budget of up to 400k (less would be a bonus) and would like either a 3 bed with large garden for office shed or a 4 bed and ideally detached.
