I'm meeting a dear friend for a special dinner in London in the next few weeks. We'd agreed to both look at restaurants but hadn't discussed it at all yet; not even so much as borough of London, budget or type of food.
I'd picked the one I most liked the look of (recommended by a Mumsnetter as it happens) but hadn't yet mentioned it to him. He's just messaged with the suggestion of the very same restaurant. Of all the thousands of restaurants in all of London we've independently chosen the same one, despite neither of us having been there before or in any way narrowed down the search parameters.
It's really brightened my day and got me thinking about weird coincidences.
