Older baby sleepsuits with mittens??

Has anyone found these?

My DS gets cold hands at night so I'd love to find either sleepsuits or a sleeping bag that have in built mittens like they do for younger babies.

He's only one but would pull off loose ones.

Help!

It's normal for them to get cold hands. Do the cold hands wake him?

LatteLover12 · 07/10/2021 15:05

He's never slept through (😩) I think last winter it was ok because he was mostly in bed with me.

I suppose I just don't want anything else that stops him from sleeping for longer.

My DP has raynauds so I think he worries more than normal.

I dont think they exist. My dd is 14 months and id like to put her in sleepsuits in general still as no waistband must be comfier, but she wears age 3to4 so has to go in proper pjs nowConfused

What about socks pulled all the way up to his elbows, i vaguely remember doing this with dd last winter but she would probably still manage to get them off

Pretty sure the Bonds wondersuits have pull over hands, same as they have on the feet

They are pricey but really well made

StrawberrySanta · 07/10/2021 15:36

What about scratch sleeves. My DS had them to stop him scratching eczema but they would work to keep hands covered for any reason

I think I saw that George at Asda do sleepsuits for older children and I believe they had built in mitts

prediction500 · 07/10/2021 15:48

Sorry just looked at one on the Asda site and it says Scratch mitts on sizes up to and including 6-9m

AngeloMysterioso · 07/10/2021 16:10

I was also going to suggest long socks pulled up to elbows, under sleeves so they’re harder to tug off!

LatteLover12 · 07/10/2021 21:12

Thank you so much everyone, I'll try the socks I think!

I've just spotted some sleeping bags with long sleeves too so that might help.

And the tip about scratch mitts has led me to this site...

Just in case anyone else was looking.

Love the power of Mumsnet 😁
